Mauricio Pochettino gives update on Ben Chilwell's injury

Chelsea Football Club have been hit with injuries to most of its first-team players since the start of the 2023/24 football season.

Ben Chilwell, the team's deputy captain, was injured in the game against Brighton and is the latest player to be added to the club's injury list. On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the England international left the pitch in the final minutes of the victory over the Seagulls at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's manager, Mauricio Pochettino, gave an update on the injury situation at Chilwell. He said the player will be assessed but it looks like a hamstring.

"We need to assess tomorrow but think it was hamstring."

Chelsea fans will hope the player is not out for a longer time. However, this will also be a good time for Marc Cucurella to showcase what he can give in the absence of Chilwell.
