Manchester United's midfielder, Mason Mount has reflected on the club's poor form since the beginning of this season (2024/25) under Erik Ten Hag and Ruben Amorim.

The former Chelsea player was speaking in an interview which was posted on the official website of Manchester United. Mason Mount was the first to admit that he needs to be consistent if the club must achieve their desired goal of winning the Europa League despite the team's poor form in the Premier League.

Mount has not enjoyed life at Old Trafford since he completed his move from Stamford Bridge. He has spent most of his time on the club's injury list.

He said,

"100%, I need consistency. I'm the first one to say I need consistent game time. From now until the end of the season, I want to be available for every single game. And hopefully, that means we will be playing the final. As a group, that's our goal. We know that we need to be playing in that UEL final and do the best we can in the Premier League and try to get as high as we can, and win games, but keep improving.”

He continued,

"We can see small improvements happen in every single game. We’ve had games we’ve lost, but felt like we've managed them, controlled them, it just didn’t really click. That’s happened a few times. But that’s something we’re working and we focus in on. Everything else is slowly building up, but we just need to finish off that final pass, that final finish. So yeah, it's definitely positive. For me, being back now to the end of the season, that's all I would wish for.”

United are currently 14th in the Premier League which is their worse form in the club's history. However, they have a chance at redeeming their season by winning the Europa League which will guarantee an automatic spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.
