He was forced to apologise to the Dutchman after attending a nightclub party to celebrate his birthday following last weekend's 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City.

There were reports that after the City match, Rashford had gone to a nightclub for a pre-arranged birthday party hours after the Old Trafford loss.

However, Rashford cleared the air about his future by responding to a tweet from The United Stand, a Manchester United fan page on X formerly known as Twitter, questioning whether the 26-year-old's future at the club may be in doubt.
