The unrest between the owners of Manchester United, The Glazers family and the supporters of the club might not be ending anytime soon.

There have been a series of protests in the past in games that involve the Red Devils at the Old Trafford stadium. The most notable unrest was a game between Manchester United and Liverpool in the Premier League last season ( 2021/22) at the Old Trafford.

The Telegraph have confirmed on its website that the fans who refer to themselves as " The 1958" are planning to stage a protest when Manchester United host Brighton on Sunday, August 7th, 2022. The supporters are planning to congregate at Salford Quays two hours before the 2 pm kick-off match.

The supporters in their posts on Twitter, they called on other supporters of the club to join them for the rally.

The Glazers are unfit and improper owners. We will always support the club. We will always support the manager. We will always rise up against the current owners and any puppet hierarchy they appoint. Our club’s future is our only motivation. Some things are worth fighting for.

Manchester United supporters have expressed their grievances against how the club is being operated by the Glazers family. The game against Brighton is Erik Ten Hag's first official game in charge of Manchester United.
