Manchester United suffer double injury following defeat against Arsenal

Manchester United have been hit with an injury scare to two of its first-team players, Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro during the pre-season game against Arsenal in the United States.

The 21-year-old player scored the opening goal of the match in the first ten minutes at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles which was played on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Rasmus Hojlund was taken off shortly afterwards as a precaution, he went down in pain but walked off the pitch without any form of assistance.

The Red Devils' summer signing, Leny Yoro was the second player to suffer an injury which is a big blow to the club. However, the club are yet to release a statement on the extent of the injury to both players.

Manchester United have two other pre-season friendly matches in the United States against Real Betis and arch-rivals Liverpool before they face Manchester City in the curtain raiser of the season in the Community Shield match on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

They kick off their Premier League campaign with a home game against Fulham on Friday, August 16, 2024.
