Manchester United receives bid from a Premier League club for Scott McTominay
Manchester United's bid to cut down on their squad ahead of the new season has started following a bid that was received from Fulham for Scott McTominay.
Fulham reportedly submitted a bid of £20 million for the Scottish midfielder, which was rejected immediately by Manchester United. According to reports, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also interested in Scott McTominay who has a year left on his contract with an option to extend for a further year.
The Red Devils have valued McTominay at £30 million which is slightly higher than what Fulham are willing to pay. If he leaves Old Trafford then Ten Hag has Mason Mount alongside Bruno Fernandes for the Number 10 position.
Any club that McTominay decides to join, he will be a good addition to them having played in a variety of roles last season, from defensive midfielder to forward.
Other players that have left the club include the duo of Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane both left on free transfers after their deals in Manchester came to an end, while Omari Forson also departed as a free agent.
