Manchester United confirm eight players that will leave the club this summer

Manchester United Football Club have confirmed the list of players that will leave the club at the end of the 2023/24 football season.

Manchester United will want to forget the misery that followed them throughout last season in the league and focus on the new season ahead. The Red Devils will have confirmed that the French duo of Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial have left the club.

Brandon Williams, Charlie McNeil, Marcus Lawrence, and Kie Plumely will also leave after entering their final season as a free agent. Alvaro Fernandez has also departed Old Trafford as Benfica have triggered the option to keep him permanently.

Manchester United showered praises on the academy players who have also left the club

"The Academy is proud of all our departing young players throughout the age groups. They will be supported in securing contracts at new clubs, provided with a bespoke aftercare program, and will always have a lifelong association with Manchester United."

The club will discuss a possible deal with Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton while Omari Forson has formally been offered a new deal.
