Jurgen Klopp has confirmed the return of three first-team players ahead of their must-win FA Cup knockout stage fixture Man United vs Liverpool.

The German head coach confirmed in his pre-match press conference that his side has received a huge boost as three players who are important in the squad have made their return to training ahead of the Man United vs Liverpool fixture.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that Curtis Jones is expected to return to the squad after the international break, and Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold will follow soon after. The Reds will face Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, following their 11-2 aggregate victory over Sparta Prague, with Mohamed Salah back in form after his recent injury.

Liverpool's chances of winning four trophies this season, having already won the EFL Cup last month, have been boosted by the return of three important players. Jones has been out for a month due to an ankle injury he sustained during the league victory over Brentford, while Jota and Alexander-Arnold are recovering from knee injuries.

Speaking on his side's chances of winning Klopp stated, “United have had a full week to prepare. [Erik] Ten Hag knows how to play so he will lineup some challenges but we have to be ready anyway. As much as it's possible, I enjoy [these games]. It is always a tough place to go. It means everything to both fan groups, we know that. We will try to show that on the pitch with the work rate but we never know. No guarantees, just opportunities. We will give it a try."
