Haaland converted a penalty to increase City's lead before Ross Barkley pulled one back for Luton. Two late goals from Doku and Gvardiol ensured that Manchester City went to the top of the table pending when Arsenal and Liverpool face each other.

Arsenal and Liverpool failed to win their games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace respectively. The Gunners lost 2-0 against Unai Emery side who are chasing a top-four finish while Palace stunned Liverpool at Anfield.
