Liverpool Reportedly Submit Bid to Porto for Luis Diaz

Liverpool Football Club have reportedly submitted a €40 million bid to FC Porto for Luis Diaz.

Sky Sports News confirmed the news on its website on Friday, January 28th, 2022. According to reports, the winger was in Jurgen Kloop's original plan during the summer transfer window but was fended off because of the pressure from Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool have reportedly sent agents to Argentina in anticipation of having the medicals there before the end of the transfer window.Diaz is currently with the Columbian National team on international duty.

Colombia will play Peru in a World Cup qualifying game on Friday, January 28th, 2022 before travelling to play against Argentina on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.

If Liverpool pull through with the deal, this means Tottenham will have lost two potential players this transfer window, after losing Adama Traore to Barcelona.
