Liverpool tied the record of the highest scoring defeat in the premier league set by Manchester United in the 9-0 win over Ipswich Town in 1995. Leicester tied the record in 2019 with their 9-0 victory over Southampton, which is why Liverpool joins them as the only clubs to have tied the record.
