#LIVCHE: 5 Things We Learnt from Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

SHARE

The game between Liverpool and Chelsea has always lived up to the expectations of football supporters around the world.

The Reds and the Blues are currently in their worst-ever form in recent seasons. Both teams occupy the ninth and tenth positions on the Premier League table, the game was played at Anfield on Saturday, January 21st, 2023.

Notjustok has decided to highlight the five talking points from the game between Liverpool and Chelsea.

(1) Hakim Ziyech:

The Moroccan International has been able to break into the Blues' first team following his recent form. He has been at the center of every creativity that has happened for Chelsea going forward.

(2) Kai Havertz:

The German has been played out of his natural position since Graham Potter was appointed manager of Chelsea. However, he has struggled to find his feet in that position despite finding the back of the net on a few occasions.

(3) Mykhailo Mudryk:

The Ukrainian showed Chelsea supporters what they should expect from him going forward in games to come ahead for the Blues. He showed a glimpse of quick feet, something that Eden Hazard showed during his time at Chelsea.

(4) Coady Gakpo:

The Dutchman is yet to score a goal for Liverpool but he showed that he can offer to the Reds when he finds his form. However, he could play more better with a partnership up front with Darwin Nunez, this would take the pressure off him.

(5) Top Four:

The result did not do justice to the quest of both teams to finish in the top four at the end of the season. This is the first time Liverpool have failed to score in two consecutive home games in the past two years. However, both managers will rather take a point than lose all three points.
