Paris Saint-Germain winger, Lionel Messi wrote his name in the history books of the club in the league game against Clermont.

Messi had three assists in the game which made him the first player in the history of the league to have three assists in two different games. He had the first one in the game against Saint-Etienne which saw PSG win the match 3-1.

PSG won the game against Clermont 6-1 with both Neymar and Mbappe getting their names on the score sheet.

Messi has been in amazing form in the league but failed to replicate such performance in the UEFA Champions League. He has 14 assists in 20 league games this season.

The Argentine joined PSG from Barcelona during the summer transfer window as a free agent following the financial fair play rule in Spain.
