Paris Saint-Germain forward player, Lionel Messi is set to leave the Ligue 1 club for a move to join Inter Miami.

The co-owner of the club, David Beckham confirmed in an interview that he has opened talks with the Argentine. Messi is in the final few months of his contract with PSG which ends in June 2023.

The Athletic confirmed on its official website that secret talks had started between the camp of Messi and Inter Miami. Jorge and Jose Mas, the brothers who co-own Inter Miami have reportedly held numerous meetings with Messi's father Jorge over a potential move.

However, there is positivity from PSG that Messi will extend his contract at the end of this current deal.
