Lewis Hamilton Fails to Make it out of Q1 for the First Time Since 2017 | See Details

Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton will start the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in the 16th position after he failed to make it out of the first qualifying session.

The result came as a shock to the supporters of the British driver. This is the first time Hamilton will fail to make it out of the first qualifying series since 2017, with penalties influencing his final time.

Hamilton apologised to his team on the radio after a disappointing qualifying series. Mercedes'second driver, George Russell finished fourth in the first qualifying series which gave him a spot in the second qualifying series.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will go down on Sunday, March 27th, 2022.
