#LEITOT: Steven Bergwijn And Tottenham Shock Leicester City
Steven Bergwijn did the impossible to secure a late 3-2 win for Tottenham in the 97th minute against Leicester City in their premier league fixture on Tuesday 19th January 2022.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham side had been down for the better part of the fixture against Leicester City till Steven Bergwijn pulled one back in the 95th minute to draw them level before going on to net the match-winner in the 97th minute.
This came as a shocker to many who had thought that Leicester City would grab a win after maintaining their lead till the 90th minute of the game against an Antonio Conte side who did not take their chances earlier in the game.
Steven Bergwijn extends Antonio Conte’s unbeaten run to nine games in the Premier League with his two goals in 80 seconds.
Tottenham Hotspur would have to prepare for their next premier league fixture against Chelsea, who have managed to beat them twice in the Carabao Cup semifinals, even with their poor run of form.
