Latest update on Harry Kane's injury ahead of UCL game against Arsenal

The UEFA Champions League gave football fans some mouth-watering quarter-final fixtures when the draw was held at the headquarters of UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland.

One of the fixtures to look out for is the game between Arsenal and Bayern Munich with the first leg going down at the Emirates on April 9, 2024. The major headline of the match is the fitness of the former Tottenham player, Harry Kane who suffered an injury heading into the last international break of the season.

Bayern Munich confirmed in an update on its official website on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, that Kane has started light training ahead of this weekend's game against SV Darmstadt 86.

The statement read as follows,

"After the final international matches on Tuesday, the majority of the squad were on the training field at Säbener Straße on Wednesday morning. Top goalscorer Harry Kane was able to join in with parts of the session again as he recovers from the ankle injury he suffered in the last Bundesliga match at SV Darmstadt 98."

Bayern Munich also confirmed that Thomas Muller who was a substitute in Germany's 2-1 win over Netherlands on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, was also involved in the group session.
