Latest update on Granit Xhaka's future at Arsenal Football Club

The supporters of Arsenal Football Club might never get to see Granit Xhaka in their club's jersey again following his decision to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Swiss international would join Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen on a long-term deal. Granit Xhaka had initially agreed on a five-year deal with the German club in May 2023 after the 2022/23 season ended.

Arsenal's decision to allow Xhaka to leave the club was taken after Declan Rice's move from West Ham United was confirmed. The Gunners are expected to receive €25 million from Leverkusen for the midfielder.
