Kyle Walker reportedly reaches an agreement with AC Milan

Kyle Walker could be saying his final goodbye to Manchester City supporters this month ( January 2025) after it was reported that he agreed a deal with AC Milan.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Kyle Walker will join AC Milan on loan and the Serie A club have the option to buy the England international for €5 million (£4.2m). According to reports, the center back have agreed to a deal with Milan that will run until 2027 if the move is made permanent, he is due to arrive in Italy on Thursday, January 24, 2025, to finalise his move to the Serie A.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola had initially confirmed that Walker would leave the Etihad after they both had a conversation at the beginning of the year (2025).

What did Pep Guardiola say about Kyle Walker at Manchester City?

He said,

"Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career. In his [Walker’s] mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years [somewhere else] for many reasons. For that reason, I prefer playing other players whose mind is here.’'

AC Milan are currently placed in eighth position which is 19 points behind league leaders, Napoli. The supporters of the Italian giants will hope they can have stability at the back when Walker arrives.
