Kevin de Bruyne reportedly set to join top Serie A club

Former Manchester City player, Kevin de Bruyne is reportedly set to join the 2024/25 Serie A Champions Napoli as a free agent.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne’s lawyers will arrive in Naples to sign the agreement for a transfer with Napoli. The deal is set to be concluded and signatures by the player can be expected very soon.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is not taking chances on the possibility of signing Kevin de Bruyne. He is keen on completing the deal before any other top club try to sign the Belgian.

Napoli will be looking to strengthen their squad going into the 2025/26 season as they compete majorly in the Serie A and the UEFA Champions League. The arrival of the Belgian will be a big boost to Antonio Conte's team as they look to continue their dominance in Italy.

The midfielder left Manchester City as a free agent after both parties failed to reach an agreement to sign a new deal with the Etihad club. He joined the Cityzens from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in 2015 and have won everything that needs to be won at the club level.
