Latest update on Kevin de Bruyne's future at Manchester City

The future of Kevin de Bruyne at Manchester City has been a major concern for the supporters of the club with only a few months left on his current contract.
Pep Guardiola was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final game against Bournemouth. According to him, the future of Kevin de Bruyne is not in his hands but between the player and the club but he is focused on Manchester City finishing in a good position at the end of this season.
He said,
"It's between the club and Kevin and his agent. It's a question for the club and Kevin. Listen, you have to understand, in the position that we are, I am concerned about the team and what is going to happen to finish the season as best as possible. The individual situations, every manager, staff and backroom staff, players, not even one second. We have to, everybody, think about what is the best for the club, for the team, to achieve the targets that are still ahead of us with the Emirates FA Cup, Premier League, and World Cup."
Manchester City have been a shadow of themselves this season having failed to replicate their form from the last few seasons.
However, Guardiola will hope that he can lead his team to winning the FA Cup at the end of this season and also finishing in a UEFA Champions League position.
