Karim Benzema Sets Unbelievable Record for Real Madrid

Real Madrid's forward player, Karim Benzema broke the goalscoring record set by the Galacticos golden boy, Raul Gonzalez.

Benzema achieved this feat in the UEFA Super Cup game against Frankfurt in Helsinki, on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022. He came into the game with 323 goals the same number of goals scored by Raul.

The 34-year-old is now the second highest goal scorer in the history of Real Madrid, he is now behind Manchester United's forward player, Cristiano Ronaldo who scored 450 goals for the La Liga side.

Benzema was named the player of the season by the body governing football in Europe, UEFA while his teammate, Vinicius Junior was named the young player of the UEFA Champions League last season.
