Jurgen Klopp Explains Why He Left Sadio Mane out of Nottingham Forest's Game
The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp has explained his decision for leaving out Sadio Mane from the Reds FA cup game.
There was a lot of questions about not playing Mane in the game which Mohamed Salah also missed the game because of an injury he sustained. The duo are due to meet in the FIFA World Cup qualifying game when Senegal take on Egypt in the qualifying game
The pair met at the final of the Africa Cup of Nations which was hosted in Cameroon with Mane coming out victorious in the game.
There was no chance for Mo to play and then at that moment, it was clear that we would not use Sadio in the game either because the game is too big in Africa and I would not be the one to be doing things like this that could be misunderstood.
Both players will forget their club affiliation when they meet for a spot in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
