Liverpool Football Club will be without two of its first-team players heading into the Europa League clash against LASK Linz.

The Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his pre-match press conference that his team will be without Allison Becker and Diogo Jota, the duo will be sidelined for a few weeks. According to him, Liverpool will be without the Brazilian when they host Fulham at Anfield on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

"Both are out. With Alison, it's a bit lesser, so we have to see. Not day by day he cannot play tomorrow or Sunday, probably not the week after but then should be kind of okay.
Diogo will take a little bit longer, we don't know exactly how long. We have to see. Is Alisson as bad as we feared? No, but bad enough."

The Brazilian suffered a hamstring in the game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 25, 2023, and he is expected to be out for at least five weeks. This means that Caoimhin Kelleher will be in goal for Liverpool for a longer period for the first time since he joined the team in more than four years.

However, Jota limped off the pitch just five minutes into the second half after he sustained a hamstring problem. He is expected to be out for a longer period than Allison.
