Jurgen Klopp Advice Chelsea on their Poor Form this 2022/23 Season
The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp is the latest manager to react to recent struggles that Chelsea has faced this season.
The Reds boss was speaking in an interview with was reported by the Daily Mail. Klopp said Chelsea's problem can be trimmed down to the size of the squad and the inability to keep the players together.
I feel a little bit for Chelsea to be honest, because it’s not going well, I think they’re a top, top team, but on the other side, it's good to see that you cannot just bring top players together,r and think it works out. You have to build a team and that’s what the guys there underestimated and gave their coaches a nearly impossible job to do. You cannot have two dressing rooms, you cannot train on two pitches, you have to create relationships, you have to create team spirit, and that’s the only reason why I’m a little bit happy about it. Chelsea will be fine in the end and they will be incredibly strong next year, but I’m using them just as an example. At the highest level, no, we cannot do it like that. And that’s what we will not do.
The Blues have been a shadow of themselves this season under the new ownership which is led by Todd Boehly. Chelsea have spent almost 600 million pounds to bring in new players but results have been poor despite having spent so much.
Four managers have also been in the club's dugout this season and that has not changed the results for the better. However, Chelsea supporters will hope that the arrival of a new manager will change the fortune of the club next season.
