Jose Peseiro Reacts to Super Eagles Defeat Against Guinea-Bissau

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro has broken the silence on the performance of his team in the first-leg qualifying game against Guinea-Bissau.

The Portuguese expressed his disappointment with the performance of his team on his official Twitter account about the game at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Friday, March 24th, 2023. He said the team played well but failed to find the back of the net.

We are sad and upset with this bad result. But we played a good game, very attacking, and created many goalscoring opportunities that unfortunately we didn't take. We want to repeat this performance in Guinea, but scoring. We are going with all our commitment and sacrifice to win.

Super Eagles lost the game 1-0 and will hope that his players can give a better performance in the second leg today ( Monday, March 27th, 2023) when the forward players find themselves in front of the opposition goalkeeper.
