Jorginho's Agent Clears the Air on Rumour Linking His Player to Barcelona

The future of Chelsea's vice-captain, Jorginho is not yet settled as he is in the final few months of his contract at the Premier League club.

The player's agent, Joao Santos was speaking in an interview with TMW where he was asked about the future of the Italian. According to him, he has started talking to Chelsea about the contract extension which is the priority of the team.

His contract is expiring in June but our priority is to negotiate with Chelsea, so we are on it. Barcelona? Maybe I spoke about him or maybe about other players… I was there as also in Madrid, Lyon, and Valencia. it’s my job.

Jorginho has been a key part of the Blues' success since he joined from Napoli in the summer of 2018 under Maurizio Sarri. He has won the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup for Chelsea.
