The Italian was speaking in an interview which was reported on the official Twitter account of renowned sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano on Thursday, December 22nd, 2022. Jorginho wants to remain at Chelsea but as of the time of reporting this news, there is nothing sure about his future with the Blues.

Of course, I want to stay, I love Chelsea. The thing is, I’m not going to think about that right now. I need to think about winning games otherwise it’s a problem.

Jorginho's current contract with Chelsea will be over at the end of this football season ( 2022/23). However, if he does not reach an agreement on a new deal with the Blues, he will be allowed to speak with other clubs when the January transfer window opens.
