Jorginho addresses speculation linking him away from Arsenal

Former Chelsea player, Jorginho has broken the silence on his future at Arsenal ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The Italian has been reportedly linked with a move away from the Premier League to join Lazio in the Serie A. However, Jorginho cleared the air about his future in an interview with the Evening Standard.

He said, "I am very happy to stay at Arsenal to be honest. Those rumours, I’m not sure who was behind it, but nothing at the moment has happened to me. I’m quite happy where I am."

He also explained how things were for him when he joined the Gunners.

"To be honest, I was surprised but really happy by how welcomed I was, how (Arsenal) treated me when I came in. It just made everything so much easier for me to know more people to integrate in the team. So it was really, really, really good and I am really, really happy," he added.

However, the midfielder will hope that the next season will not be as disappointing as the last season. The Gunners lost the Premier League title to Manchester City after spending 286 days on the league table.
