Joao Felix reportedly linked with a return to Chelsea

The 2024 summer transfer window has been very busy for Chelsea Football Club as they look to build a formidable team ahead of the new season, the latest name that is being mentioned at the club is Joao Felix.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official website on Monday, August 12, 2024. According to the Italian, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are looking for a way to ensure that Conor Gallagher and Julian Alvarez's deal does not break down with Joao Felix being the player thrown into the conversation to see both deals come to reality.

Chelsea are also interested in bringing Joao Felix to Stamford Bridge who is an attacking option for the club after Samu Omorodion's deal seems to have ended. The return of the Portuguese international might be what the Blues might be lacking upfront as he can play in any position in the forward line having scored four goals during his first spell at the club.

Recall that Felix has been on loan alot of times for the past few seasons after his relationship with the Madrid boss, Diego Simeone seem to have ended on a sour note.

There are also reports that Chelsea are also looking for a way to bring in Victor Osimhen ad the main striker for the club going into the new season.
