Barcelona's President, Joan Laporta has given an update on Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang's potential move to the club.

Aubameyang is currently at Barcelona for a possible last day loan deal that will see him spend the rest of his season in La Liga. Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Monday, January 31st, 2022.

Laporta confirmed while speaking to some reporters that there is a possibility of Aubameyang joining the club for the rest of the season but a lot things are invlobed before the deal can see the light of day.

We would like to incorporate Aubameyang. It is very complicated but there is hope.

Barcelona will need to sell some players before the Gabonese can be added to the Catalonia team. Ousmane Dembele seem to be the player that might make room for Aubameyang, if his deal to Chelsea or PSG pulls through then the Gabonese might be a Barcelona player.
