The fairytale comes to an end, Jamie Vardy set for a Leicester City exit

13 years of football history and heritage at Leicester City is about to come to an end as it has been confirmed that Jamie Vardy will leave the club.
Leicester City has officially announced that Jamie Vardy, the club's long-standing captain, will be leaving at the end of the season, concluding an incredible 13-year tenure. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the club’s history, Vardy’s departure marks the end of an era.
Vardy’s final season at Leicester has been marred by disappointment, with the team suffering Premier League relegation, an outcome he described as “totally embarrassing.” Despite this setback, the 38-year-old forward has no plans to retire and is now searching for his next opportunity in football.
The striker first arrived at Leicester back in 2012 for a modest fee of £1 million and has since solidified his status as a legend. He was instrumental in the club’s historic Premier League title win in 2016, in addition to helping them claim the FA Cup, two Championship titles, and the Community Shield during his time in the East Midlands.
