Israel Adesanya reacts to his defeat against Sean Strickland

The lovers of UFC were left in shock following Isreal Addsanya's defeat of Sean Strickland in Sydney, Australia.

The 32-year-old American fighter showed grit and determination in the five rounds of the fight against Nigerian- born, New Zealander, Israel Adesanya. Sean Strickland won the fight 49-46 on all three scorecards, according to the judges who presided over the fight on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Strickland started the first round in fine style, as his punch saw Adesanya spin to the canvas before seeking a finish. He could not quite find the knockout blow, however, as Adesanya survived the buzzer.

The next four rounds were the same for Strickland as he got the better of the style bender.

Adesanya reacted to the fight via his official X account, which is formerly known as Twitter, he posted, "I hate losing, but I love living. What a life!!!"
