Inter Milan takes final decision on Romelu Lukaku deal
The future of Romelu Lukaku might not be sorted before the start of the new season ( 2023/24) as speculated by football pundits around the world.
Inter Milan has reportedly withdrawn their interest in signing the Belgian according to transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano. The Serie A club initially wanted to pay £30 million for the player but they opted out of the deal.
Inter were left furious after they heard that there was a conversation ongoing between Romelu Lukaku and Juventus. This decision means that Saudi Arabia and Juventus are the only options left for the forward player.
Lukaku joined Chelsea during the 2021 summer transfer window but failed to meet the expectations at the club despite the hype around his transfer. Things went awful between himself and his club after he had an interview with Sky Sports Italy calling out Thomas Tuchel's style of play who was the manager of the Blues at that time, he left Chelsea on a loan deal to Inter last season.
He is expected back at Chelsea on Monday, July 17, 2023, but will not join the team for its pre-season in the United States of America.
