Here is Why Manchester United and Arsenal Dropped Out of Joao Felix's Deal

Atletico Madrid's forward player, Joao Felix, has flown to London to have his medical ahead of his loan deal to Chelsea.

The Portuguese International was reportedly linked with a move to Arsenal and Manchester United but the transfer fee Atletico were asking for the player seems too high for both clubs. The Red Devils were working on a tight budget and could not pay that much for the player which was also the same situation with the Gunners, according to reports from Sky Sports News.

However, Chelsea were in a better position to sign the player, the injury crisis at the club was also another reason why the Blues did not waste time on the deal. They will pay £11 million to Atletico for the player and are also expected to pay the wages of Felix during the loan spell.

The deal has not gone down well with some Chelsea supporters because there is no option to buy the player at the end of the loan deal.
