Here are your nominees for August 2023 manager of the month award

The Premier League have announced the nominees for the August manager of the month award.

Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta has started from where he left off last season. He led his team to wins over Nottingham Forest, having dropped four points this season with a defeat to Crystal Palace and a draw with Fulham.

The 2022/23 Barclays Manager of the Season, Pep Guardiola is the only nominee with a perfect record. Manchester City have won all three August matches to begin their title defence in style.

The manager of Liverpool Jurgen Klopp has continued his unbeaten run from the end of last season to start this campaign with two wins and a draw, opening with a 1-1 statemate at Chelsea before beating AFC Bournemouth and specifically in the dramatic win over Newcastle with Klopp's decision to bring on Darwin Nunez at St James' Park proved to turn the game around.

Others on the list include David Moyes and Ange Postecoglou, the duo have been excellent for both West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
