The supporters of Liverpool Football Club were hit with devastating news due to an injury to Harvey Elliott while on an international break with the England U-21 team.

The injury to Harvey Elliott is a big blow to Arne Slot as he looks to continue in his fantastic form and also a squad depth as the team competes in more competitions. According to Paul Joyce from the Times, he suffered a fractured foot in one of the sessions and had to pull out of the squad.

He came on as a late substitute in the 2-0 win over Brentford at Anfield. Liverpool have seven games coming in three weeks. This will also be a big blow for Harvey Elliott as he will miss out on the chance to impress Arne Slot.

However, there is a bit of good news for Liverpool supporters as Curtis Jones is back in full training after missing the last two games, while Alexis Mac Allister was handed only 26 minutes for Argentina amid his fitness concerns.

Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa has used the break to get back up to speed and will be an option across the frontline and in the No. 10 role.
