The English player who played the game against Burnley was not seen with the players at United's Lowry base. The Athletic confirmed the news on its website confirming that the player was not seen at the team's hotel on Sunday evening.

Manchester United's manager, Ralf Rangnick, will have either bring Eric Bailly, who came off after 66 minutes against Burnley after what seems to have suffered a hamstring injury. Phil Jones, who is yet to start a Premier League game in over two years is also an option for the German coach.

Manchester United fans will hope whoever is chosen to partner with Rafael Varane in defense will bring out a top-class performance against Wolves. A win for the Red Devils will close the gap on the fourth-placed team, Arsenal.
