Harry Maguire reacts to his goal against Copenhagen

One of the most criticised defenders in the world, Harry Maguire showed what he could still bring to the pitch in Manchester United's game against Copenhagen.

The England international reacted to the winning goal he scored on match day three of the UEFA Champions League at Old Trafford on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Harry Maguire praised himself in the post-match interview and also spoke about how he is ready to take the second chance that has been given to him.

"I am really proud and pleased with the way I've acted over the last 6-12 months. I have been given an opportunity now and I just want to be here to help the team and get this club back to where it should be"

The game ended 1-0 in favour of the Red Devils, this is the club's first victory in the tournament this season following defeats against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

Maguire has given a top-class performance in the last two games across all competitions ( Sheffield and Copenhagen). He will hope for a better show of himself when they play Manchester City next in the Premier League.
