Harry Kane reportedly agrees to join Bayern Munich on a long-term deal

Tottenham Hotspur's highest goal scorer, Harry Kane, has reportedly agreed to join Bayern Munich.

Both clubs have initially agreed on a transfer fee of €100 million plus €20 million in add-ons for the player. The English International will sign a four-year deal with the Bavarians, which will keep him at the club at least until 2027.

Bayern Munich improved their bid for the 30-year-old after seeing their initial bid rejected by Spurs. However, the decision was left to Harry Kane, if he wanted to join Bayern this summer or sign a contract extension with Tottenham.

Kane is expected to travel to Germany today ( Friday, August 11, 2023), the Bundesliga club have also booked a medical for the forward player.

The 30-year-old is Tottenham's all-time record goalscorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances, having scored his first Spurs goal in December 2011. He has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games and is currently 48 goals away from breaking Alan Shearer's record as the highest scorer in Premier League history.
