The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has spoken about the possibility of his team winning the UEFA Champions League this season.

Guardiola was speaking at a press conference ahead of Manchester City's game against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. The Spaniard was asked if Erling Haaland was the missing puzzle that will help City win the League.

The Cityzens manager said he does not know if Haaland will help Manchester City win the Champions League this season. However, the Norwegian striker has been in fantastic form since he joined the Premier League champions during the 2022 summer transfer window.

Manchester City won their opening game of the Champions League 4-0 against Sevilla at the Etihad. The supporters of the club will hope they go on to win the trophy for the first time in their history.
