Guardiola shares his thoughts on Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool

Pep Guardiola will have one less thing to worry about from next season when the 2024/25 Premier League fixtures schedule gets released because of the game against Liverpool.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola showed respect for Jurgen Klopp during his press conference after the game against Tottenham in the FA Cup at White Hart Lane on Friday, January 26, 2024. He also revealed that the German international wi be missed by everyone but he is sure that Klopp will be back.

"Klopp leaving? I will sleep better! The day before playing Liverpool, it was always a nightmare. The best rival I have ever had in my life. I wish him all the very best. He will be back."

The fixture between the Cityzens and the Reds is one that most football lovers around the world look forward to, this goes beyond what the players get to offer on the pitch but also what Guardiola and Klopp bring on the touchline.

Recall that Klopp has initially announced that he would leave Liverpool at the end of this current season ( 2023/24) stating that he could no longer do the coaching job again.
