Graham Potter Explains His Reason for Dropping Mykhaylo Mudryk in Recent Games
Chelsea head coach, Graham Potter has cleared the air about his reasons for not playing Mykhaylo Mudryk on match days.
The Englishman has received a lot of tongue-lashing from a lot of Chelsea fans concerning his reason for not bringing on the Ukrainian whenever the Blues. He said that the midfielder needs time to adapt to the Premier League.
He’s a player that we believe in a lot. Mudryk is adapting to a new situation. When he arrived he was at the start of a pre-season so to come in to hit the Premier League running isn’t so easy. He’ll be in the squad.
Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk during the 2023 January transfer window. He signed an eight-year deal which is expected to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2031.
