Getafe reports Bellingham to Laliga for allegedly calling Greenwood a 'rapist'

Real Madrid's top goal scorer, Jude Bellingham, might have talked himself into trouble following what he said to his fellow countryman, Mason Greenwood.

There are reports from football fans that the former Borussia Dortmund player called Mason Greenwood a rapist during the game. Gatefe has asked the match referee during the side's 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid to include the alleged insult that Jude Bellingham may have aimed at Greenwood in his match report.

After both players were involved in a tackle, the camera focused on Bellingham. According to some fans, it was believed that he said the word 'rapist' in the direction of the Getafe forward player.

Bellingham could receive a punishment from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) if he is found guilty, but it would likely be difficult to prove that the former Borussia Dortmund starlet had made the statement without accompanying audio.

Greenwood left Manchester United on a loan deal during the 2023 summer transfer window after there was a mutual agreement between both parties to leave the club in his will and that it was best for him to pick up his career elsewhere after he was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including attempted rape, in January 2022.

The Crown Prosecution Service dropped the charges in February 2023, but Greenwood was sent out on loan to Getafe, and he has continued to show that he is capable of doing a positive start to life in Spain.
