Germany's First-team Player is Ruled Out of the World Cup

The latest absentee from the World Cup is Germany's Timo Werner who sustained an injury in the UEFA Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk. This is bad news for the player who will not be able ro represent his country in Qatar.
Leipzig confirmed the news on its official Twitter account on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, according to the club, Werner injured his left ankle after the examination it was confirmed that he sustained a tear in his syndesmosis ligament.
The injury to Werner will be a big blow to Leipzig and the German national team.
