Southgate Takes Decision over Reece James' Inclusion in the 26-Man List

The head coach of the Three Lions of England, Gareth Southgate has taken a final decision concerning the inclusion of Reece James at the World Cup.

James suffered an injury in the UEFA Champions League game against AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium on Matchday 4. According to reports from the Athletic, Southgate communicated to the Chelsea player that he would not be part of the final squad that will be going to Qatar.

Chelsea's head coach has initially confirmed that the club will not rush Reece James back into full action. However, he confirmed that the return date for the defender was left to the player and the doctors.

James will hope he can get back to full fitness before the end of the World Cup so that he can be available for selection for Chelsea in the league and other competitions.
