Arsenal's midfielder, Gabriel Martinelli wrote his name in the history book of the Premier League.

The Brazilian scored the opening goal against Liverpool after 58 seconds at the Emirates Stadium. The goal was the second fastest in the history of the fixture between the Gunners and the Reds.

The fastest goal in the fixture between both sides was scored by Liverpool's Martin Skrtel after 52 seconds in the 5-1 demolition of the Gunners at Anfield in February 2014. The goal is also the quickest goal Arsenal has scored in the Premier League since Robin Van Persie's goal against Sunderland after 29 seconds.
