SADIO MANE BREAKS SILENCE ON HIS FUTURE AT LIVERPOOL

Carlos Tevez confirmed the news on Mundo Albiceleste, a football website in Argentina on Saturday, June 4th, 2022. According to the 38-year-old, he stopped playing football since last year after he lost his adopted father.

I have retired, it's confirmed. They offered me many things, including from the United States. But that's it, I have given everything. Playing the last year was very difficult but I was able to see my old man. I stopped playing because I lost my number one fan.

He also confirmed that he struggled with his diet and found it difficult to have his training session after the death.

I eat empanadas and drink fernet and wine whatever I want. I take care of myself a little, but I now have an extra three or four kilos. I get up a little late. I can’t imagine going back to training and running. I used to get up at 6am to go training. I would arrive first and be the last to leave. But I don’t have the strength to do that now.

Tevez started his career with Boca Juniors, he later moved to the Premier League to play for West Ham United. He went on to play for Manchester United where he won two Premier League titles, he also won a league title with Manchester City.
