Flamingos of Nigeria Book Qualification for U-17 World Cup

The Flamingos of Nigeria have booked their ticket for the next Under-17 Women's World Cup that will be hosted in India.

The Nigerian team confirmed their qualification following their goalless game against Ethiopia in Abuja, the Flamingos won the first leg 1-0, advancing to the next round on aggregate. They had a fantastic run scoring 15 goals in six qualifying goals without losing a game or concerning a goal.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, was at the stadium to show support to the players for the achievement.

The World Cup will be played in October 2022, Nigerians will hope the team can give a good performance when they go out to represent the country in India.
