What do you need to know about Chelsea's opponents in the Conference League playoffs?
Braga finished fourth in Portugal’s Primeira Liga last season and competed in the Champions League group stage last season.
Servette won the Swiss Cup final in June 2024, which was their first major trophy in 23 years. Last season they reached the round of 16 in the Conference League. The last time Chelsea met Servette was in 1946 with the Blues winning the match 2-0.
How did the Blues qualify for the Conference League?
Chelsea's disappointing performance in the early part of the league last season (2023/24) saw them finish in sixth position behind Tottenham Hotspur in fifth place. The position was good enough to see the Blues play in the Europa League, but Manchester United's victory over their noisy neighbours, Manchester City saw drop to the third tier of European football ( Europa Conference League).
